Description: Estes Javelin and Super Flea model rocket kit #0815 was part of the Mini-Brute series and was produced from 1973 through 1984. The combo kit featured Estes skill level packaging with yellow facecard and hang tag from 1973 through 1980 and then kits manufactured after 1980 can be found with the yellow facecard and black hang tag combination. The facecard is yellow and white color with overlaid grey Javelin and Super Flea images. Rocket specifications and engine recommendations are found on the lower portion of the facecard.
The Javelin is an easy to build 13mm engine powered skill level 1 rocket. Its sleak design allows for competitive flights over 1000 feet. Recovery is via streamer. Within the combo kit, one also finds the Super Flea which is an ultra high flying rocket with break up recovery system. The design employs an ogive nose cone and swept back fins for incredible altitudes.
