Description: Vertical image: Damon Era Astron Constellation with yellow double oval hang tag is believed to be produced from 1971 through 1974. Afterwards, the blue skill level kits (#1235) were released in or about 1974 or 1975 time frame. The facecard is typical double panel art card with black borders. The upper facecard panel has a red background with an overlaid Constellation rocket image and $2.00 pricing in black oval. The lower panel presents kit number, technical information and recommended engines.

Estes marketed the Astron Constellation as a sleek high performance single stage rocket with visible payload bay.

The kit features a main body tube, balsa nose cone, balsa block, clear payload section, one sheet of balsa fin stock, 12" parachute, engine mount, launch lug, and instructions.
