Description: Vertical Image: pre-Damon era Astron Midget rocket kit with yellow pre Damon hang tag and white and back facecard. The facecard is part of the instruction sheet. A white outlined image of the Midget rocket and white lettering agianst black background are the main facecard features. Price is printed on the facecard as "Only $1.25". At the bottom of the facecard is a black box with white lettering for kit number, engine recommendations and Estes logo.

The Midget is a two stage rocket employing Series III short engines with BT50 sustainer (upper stage) and BT20 booster design. Series III engines were the Midget's power source through 1971 followed by conversion to T series mini engines in 1972. The kit's low mass and two stage power produces high altitudes for sport or demonstration flying.

The kit features upper and lower stage body tubes, a balsa nose cone, one sheet balsa fin stock, two stage engine mounting system, 12" plastic parachute, launch lug, wood dowel and instructions.
