Subsequent Pre Damon Mars Landers were packaged in a predominately red cardboard box. After the Damon acquisition, the Mars Lander is packaged in a black cardboard box and is fairly common.
The kit features two main body tubes and internal rings, five launch lugs, eight shock bands, two sheet of balsa fin stock, wood dowels, 4mm bearings, flexible hinges, engine mounting system, an 18" plastic parachute, and instructions.
