Description: Vertical image: Damon Era Astron Stinger offered as a free bonus kit with a special black and white paper hang tag. The front of the hang tag features white FREE KIT lettering on black background while the back of the hang tag shows the Estes logo and an Orbital Transport in flight on solid white background. The facecard features the Stinger rocket against a darker green background. Bonus kit emblem is clearly shown within a large oval. The name "Astron Stinger" is printed in black letters as are the specifications.
The Stinger is a high performance rocket with streamer recovery but was never illustrated in an Estes catalog.
The kit features a body tube, balsa nose cone, balsa sheet for fins, engine case and block, launch lug, and instructions.
During late August 2012, a K-53 kit with black and white FREE KIT hang tag and free kit sticker sold on eBay for $159. I've decided not to created a separate listing for the inclusion of a free kit stricker on kit already having the black and white FREE KIT hang tag.
