Description: Horizontal Image: pre-Damon Era Astron Apogee from early 60's. This kit variety was only produced in during initial Estes production years of 1962 through 1963. Combination white facecard and instruction sheet with horizontal Apogee rocket image in a stapled gusset bag. Facecard has Astron Apogee printed in black block letters, pricing, Estes company name/address along with marketing points that kit has transparent payload section and will fly over 2000 feet.
Kit features a solid red 10" parachute predating the Estes 12" checkered design. This is a very rare K kit to locate in original problem free condition and one of the key kits to completing an Estes K kit collection.
