Comments: After careful study of the 1843 Proof obverse die date position in comparison with that of the Ahwash 4 obverse, I have chosen to assume that the Ahwash 4 obverse die is a reuse of the proof die for business strikes. Therefore Obverse 3.2 is listed as an 1843 business strike obverse die. Obverse 3.2 exhibits minor repunching under the left lower loop of the 8 digit.
