Obverse 4.2: Clashed Die, Medium Level Date
Reverse D: Perfect Die

Obverse 4.2 Reverse D
Obverse Diagnostic Point(s)

Comments: Obverse 4 has been sharply clashed. Clash marks are most obvious above the date digits, to the immediately left of Liberty's left arm and to the right of Liberty's right elbow. Once again, the obverse die shows clashing while the reverse die exhibits no obvious signs of die clashing. These observations on Varieties 102 and 104a need further research.
