Comments: Breen lists a second reverse die with "doubling obvious on the ribbons and parts of the wreath" and a mintmark positioned far right. The "reverse doubling" mentioned by Breen has been shown to be strike doubling. A photographic analysis is presented within the Variety 101a listing. This date is sometimes seen with a convex obverse resulting in rapid wear of the central obverse details from the single obverse die. Value As A Date (Coin World Trends/CoinValues)
