The 1905 quarter eagle certainly brings on the eye appeal given its rich satiny luster that glows under the desk LED lamp. Cartwheels are consistent with full gem grade along with attractive honey green-gold coloration. Strike is 100% complete. This piece has the "look" of a gem but a single faint line in the right obverse field precludes that certification. MS64+ rewards the visual appeal.
