$425 		Gray-Gold Patina, Choice Original, Typical Strike, Conservatively Graded. The 1873-S With Arrows date is scarce and underrated as most ended up in commerce with few being saved by the few U.S. western collectors of that period. I believe this date remains underrated at current pricing levels. GFRC is pleased to be offering a choice original example that has been conservatively graded. Surfaces are covered with a consistent grayish-gold patina. Strike weakness at the upper left reverse is typical per Briggs. A careful 10x loupe inspection revealed two ancient micro lines in the right obverse field that are completely toned over. Regardless, a Choice Original quality rating is warranted at the assigned PCGS grade. Housed in PCGS Gen 4.4 (2005-2011) holder with classic old time eye appeal for fans of strike originality.
