$1750 		Choice Original, Gray and Autumn Gold Patina, Fully Struck, Accurately Graded, Florida Collection. A challenging date at the higher Mint State grades regardless of the 1,720,000 mintage. This lovely example offers gray-golden toning with darker shades on the obverse. Under bright light, the dark obverse toning melts away exposing underlying luster and light gold coloring along with a thin aquamarine ring at the rim. Reverse exhibits gold coloring on the upper wreath devices. Strike is complete and typical of the 1888 San Francisco date. Blemish wise, I see two toned over circular hairlines in the right obverse field of no consequence. Housed in PCGS Gen 4.4 (2005-2011) holder with standard ring insert.
