This well preserved and evenly worn 1861-S Seated quarter would be ideal for those collecting at the low end of the circulated grade spectrum. Natural coin gray patina blankets even and surprisingly unmarked surfaces for the grade. The reverse rims are well defined and complete while the obverse rim is worn through at stars 9 through 11. This piece is accurate graded as a G04. CAC has only approved this example at grade with 5 lessor. A challenging date to locate in grades above VF. Housed in PCGS Gen 4.4 (2005-2011) holder with CAC approval December 1969
