$200 		E-Bid Auction Sale - Mottled Gray-Tan Shades, Fully Struck, Choice Original, Iowa Collection II Sale. Mottled tan shades cover both sides, more deeply on the obverse. The central figures are lighter, with the eagle being nearly uniform in color. Light dirt surrounds protected areas, including the stars and ribbon. Fields are smooth for the grade, as one would expect on a CAC-approved example. The piece is well struck with most star points and claw joints distinct. While many examples of this issue exhibit weakness in LIBERTY, the letters on this piece are clear. CAC reports 30 pieces certified across all grades. Housed in a PCGS Gen 4.4 (2005-2011) holder with CAC approval. December 1969
