The 1868-S is an underrated and challenging date in the Liberty Seated quarter series. Mintage is a low 96,000 with most being heavily worn during circulation. CAC has approved only fifteen in all grades. The Tenafly Collection arrives with a quality duplicate to share. Surfaces are strictly original with honest even wear and light gray patina with some ebony specks. A carefully 10x loupe inspection revealed no blemishes.
