$160 		Shattered Reverse Die, Heavy Obverse Rim Cuds, Choice Surfaces, Palos Verdes Collection. The 1891-O F-119 die pairing results in a spectacular shattered reverse with progressive die states. The Palos Verdes Collection has released a raw example with creamy luster and just a touch of wear. This example illustrates an interim die states with sharp rims and an abundance of heavy rim cuds. All reverse die cracks are present but lack the late die state shelf metal as seen on the web-book plate coin. Luster is frosty with pleasing cartwheels. Surfaces are unabraded. Fairly priced for the quality die state. December 1969
