A splendidly preserved 1811 Capped Bust example with a base layer of gun metal gray-blue patina which is further overlaid with peripheral olive shades. Fields are unabraded regardless of the amount of time in circulation. Strike is typical for the date. This early half is so well preserved that a JUST BUY IT NOW recommendation is warranted.
