The Doily was produced during September and October 1989 and promptly discontinued in lieu of the "old green holder" that spanned from 1989 through 1998. If a fan of early numismatics and desiring to place physical gold in a collection, these 1897 and 1898 $10 eagles warrant serious consideration.
