$1800 		Gold CAC No Motto Type, Classic Greenish-Gold Coloring, Conservative Grading, Osprey Collection. A better No Motto $10 gold date with a mintage of 571,500. As is so typical for 1840s New Orleans issues, coinage went into locate circulation in the deep South and remained there for years. As a result, higher grade examples examples become progressively more difficult ot locate. This gem 1847-O offering is fully deserving of its Gold CAC bean. Surfaces are very well preserved with present a deep green-gold coloring that is a testament to as issued originality. Housed in PCGS Gen 3.1 (1993-1998) old green holder with Gold CAC approval.
