$828 		Near-Gem, Brilliant satiny Luster, Oregon Beaver Collection. Ample, satiny luster graces both sides of this better-date quarter eagle, of which only 30,000 were struck. Orange and pink-gold shades predominate, with a few notes of copper on the reverse. Smooth surfaces are interrupted by only scattered marks, consistent with the grade. The strike is strong, with sharp definition beneath the shield. If seeking a high-grade quarter eagle for a type set, why not choose a lower-mintage issue? Housed in a PCGS Gen 6.0 holder.
