$2000 		Near-Choice, Tennesse Dollar Collection. Natural, frosted texture highlights this late-date Seated dollar, and the remaining cartwheel is strong for the grade. A bright reveal reveals reflective surfaces featuring antique silver patina with a navy blue background. A few abrasions in the right obverse field limit the GFRC evaluation to near-Choice. As with most Seated dollars, higher grade survivors are the rule, with EF/AU pieces greatly outnumbering examples in lower grades. These coins simply did not circulate to an extensive level, a pleasant situation for today's collectors, who generally encounter only well-detailed pieces.
