Small 0, Brilliant Frosted Luster, Vibrant Cartwheels, Choice Surfaces, Upstate New York Collection. Handling premium consignor coins does bring a dilemma with respect to description writing. Those descriptions may seem repetitious as the quality characteristics are recited over and over again. I'm sorry but this 1830 O-109 R3 half will be in the same vein. This is yet another well preserved example with brilliant frosted luster and vibrant cartwheel action. Surfaces are pristine with no abrasions during a 10x inspection. Center rose is more obvious on the reverse along with peripheral aquamarine on both sides. I've got to do it again and call out a JUST BUY IT NOW recommendation. This lovely half has not been to CAC and the new owner should make an attempt. The O-109 variety is easily attributed by repunching in the upper loop of the 8 digit. Housed in PCGS Gen 6.0 holder with Small 0 attribution on the label. December 1969
