 Choice $675 Frosted Luster, Wicked Good Strike, Near-Gem, Thinning the Herd Collection. This near-gem 1834 JR-6 dime screams originality along with having a wicked good strike. Yes indeed, this piece is a looker that promptly captured my attention. We kick-off with frosted/steely obverse fields with their silver glow under angled lighting. That same glow is a bit more intense on the reverse due to less toning. Strike is hammered resulting in pointed stars and all motifs being in high relief. Accurately graded and housed in PCGS Gen 6.0 (2015-2020) holder. I believe this piece has been submitted to CAC, but with or without the green bean, the overall quality and presentation is the same.
