$1125 		Steely Polished Fields, Orange-Gold, Peripheral Blues, Fully Choice. Violet, orange, and cobalt blue blanket both sides of this pleasingly toned Seated quarter. Fields are particularly steely with heavy die polished lines on the obverse. Type I obverse with straight fingers at the pole, type II reverse with claws more relaxed than on the earlier hub. Along with the introduction of new hubs in this year, the date punches are smaller, leaving more space in the exergue. Complete strike with just a touch of weakness in the right stars. Accurately graded and fully choice. Housed in an ANACS old white holder. December 1969
