Gem $2350 Brilliant Frosted Luster, Bold Strike, Peripheral Gold, Accurately Graded. 1845 brought a substantial increase in Liberty Seated dime production after the anemic 72,500 pieces struck in 1844. Six obverse and seven reverse dies have been documented for a production of 1,755,000 minted. The F-105 and F-105a web-book listings documents a die pairing that is available. The infrequently seen F-105a die state captures crossing reverse die cracks at STAT(E)S as is the case with this lovely gem survivor. Brilliant frosted luster is consistent on both sides along with peripheral gold. Strike is well executed for the date with only a touch of weakness on the lower right stars. Die scratches can be seen to the left of the base of the pole with 10x as the strike is powerfully detailed. Accurately grade and housed in new large font NGC holder.
