 Gem $2750 Terminal Die State, Crusty Gray Old 2x2 Paper Toning, Ex. "Col" E.H.R Green Collection, now Gerry Fortin Reference Collection. Ex: "Col." E.H.R. Green. The obverse of this terminal die state 1839 F-104b die has three lengthy die cracks, the heaviest between star 2 and the 3 and migrating across the shield and through the date. This intricately struck, unabraded, and satiny gem original survivor has deep old 2x2 paper envelope toning with mahogany-brown, steel-gray, and forest-green coloration. Housed in 2013 generation NGC holder with edge view insert and special Eric P. Newman pedigree label. This is a particular difficult coin to photograph.
