$4895 		Rare Grade, Choice Surfaces, Steely Field, Aquamarine-Orange Toning, Twin Lakes Collection. San Fancisco sruck 1858 dimes are a great date in a series of rarities. Mintage is only 60,000 with essentially all entering Western frontier commerce. This isuse was used and abused leaving few choice survivors. Enter the Twin Lakes consignor with a fully struck F-103 example which is heading back to the marketplace. The event warrants a JUST BUY IT NOW recmmendation as this offering is the best struck F-103 seen to date. Most come with a weak spot and the lower head and gown line. The fields are best described as steely with moderate reflectance, but let's remember this piece is one of the few Twin Lakes AU55s as locating an AU58 is nearly futile.
