$1085 		Early Date, Dual Sided Die Finish, Choice Original. A popular early Seated quarter date with mintage of 510,000. This new purchase was struck with the Briggs 1-A die pair as there are die chips above the period after "QUAR" and a high date with downward slope. This survivor offers a dual sided die finish with steely reflective obverse luster while the reverse is frosted. Though the obverse toning might appear dark during in-hand viewing, angled lighting brings about rose-gold coloration against a partially mirrored backdrop. Overall, a pleasing and choice original example at the desirable AU58 collecting grade. Housed in newer NGC holder with edge view insert. December 1969
