$685 		Draped Quarter Type Candidate, Golden Gray Patina, Smooth Surfaces, Sooner Collection. 1806 dated Draped quarters are idle for type given the substantial mintage of 206,124 pieces. This B-2 example is easily attributed by the reverse whereby the 25(C) and (A)MERICA are touching. Smooth surfaces are toned a base coin gray with embedded gold. Bright light viewing shifts the coloration to mostly gold. A nice type piece at a price that won't break the numismatic budget. Housed in ANACS old white holder. December 1969
