$650 		In Wreath Obverse, Early Die State Cracks, Frosted Luster, Light Gray . It is well recognized that the 1875-CC Below Wreath dime strikes are a better mintmark position variety as compared to the more available In Wreath. Only eight obverse dies have been isolated for the Below Wreath strikes while thirteen are known for the In Wreaths. Of course, there are obverse dies that were employed to strike both reverse mintmark varieties as is the case for this F-103 offering. The obverse die cracks are found in an early die state but are detectable with careful 10x inspection. This newly acquired example is fully choice with nicely frosted surfaces and luster that is consistent with the certified grade. Strike is complete which adds to the overall eye appeal.
