Though only graded PF62, this 1871 proof dime exhibits watery mirrors and cameo effects with angled lighting. The reflectance is sharp and consistent with a higher grade. Copper-gold rims further enhance the eye appeal. The assigned grade is technically fair as light hairlines are evident during 10x review. This piece was hand selected for the web-book project for overall eye appeal and cameo appearance at a very fair price way back at the 2002 Winter FUN show.
