$1650 		Steely Reflective Luster, Super Obverse Strike, Aquamarine-Gray, Well Preserved. Locating early Capped Bust coinage with bold strikes is an ongoing collector challenge. Strictly originality further complicated the search. This new 1812 O-105 is particularly well struck with elevated stars and sharp center points and bold though delicate hair curls. Steely fields result in sharp reflectance. Overall coloration is an aquamarine-gray that shows hints of copper-gold under a bright. Surfaces are choice with no blemishes warranting mentioned. There are several circular die cracks consistent with the attribution. Housed in PCGS Gen 6.1 (2020-2023) holder. The label captures the Overton 105 attribution. December 1969
