 Choice $850 Choice Original, Steven Vitale Collection.. A lovely example of the 1844 Little Orphan Annie dime that is housed in PCGS Gen 5.0 (2015) Dupont hologram holder with CAC approval. That approval is unquestionably warranted due to the choice surfaces and attractive old album toning. Both sides are layered with golden blues shades along with embedded aquamarine. Strike is well executed while the overall surfaces are well preserved with no blemishes. This date is easily available at the Good through Fine grades but becomes increasingly difficult in VF and very scarce in EF. Choice AU examples are rare. This Vitale Collection specimen is an important opportunity for collector constructing a CAC centric set of Liberty Seated dimes.
