 Choice $2750 Rare San Francisco Date, Choice Original, Mountain View Collection.. This is a well preserved 1861 San Francisco strike and key date in the Liberty Seated quarter series. Mintage is 96,000 with few saved by Western frontier citizens. The mintage went into circulation and remained there until well worn or lost. The number of AU survivors is incredibly low with no Mint State examples certified by PCGS. This CAC approved specimen offers moderate wear with natural light gray surfaces.
