$2400 		Very Scarce Early Date, Choice Original, Frosty Luster, Classic Olive-Gold Patina, Oregon Beaver Collection. This new Oregon Beaver release is an important San Francisco quarter eagle gold offering with a meager mintage of 35,600. Very scarce in all grades with only 15 certified by PCGS at the AU58 grade level. This date quickly becomes rare in Mint State therefore AU58 specimens are in high demand based on the value curve. A well-struck near Mint State example that displays original olive-gold patina with residual luster in the fields. The surfaces are surprisingly blemish free a without a single abrasion requiring mention. Only slight high-point friction is observed. Housed in PCGS Gen 6.0 (2015-2020) holder. December 1969
