Choice $815 Satiny Luster, Pristine Surfaces, Orange-Gold Patina, Well Struck. Not every U.S gold piece that crosses the GFRC desk is CAC approved though this lovely 1926 $2.5 Indian is close. Satiny luster is typical for the issue as is the orange-gold coloring. Fully struck with minimal field abrasions. A solid offering for type or a special gold stash. Housed in PCGS Gen 4.4 (2005-2011) holder though the serial number dates back to the old green holder timeframe and probably regraded during the mid 2000 period.
