 Original $1750 Original Gray, Sunset Point Collection. Consignor Price Reduction. The 1860 San Francisco date is scarce in all grades with a limited mintage of 56,000. Most surviving examples will be found in the Very Good through Fine grade range as is the case with this original example. Obverse rims are bold with six full letters in LIBERTY presence. The reverse rim has barely worn through under (U)NITED and the olive leaves. Surfaces are toned a medium gun metal gray with blue shades evident under a light source. This example is entirely blemish free with no marks, lines or other anomalies. I'm comfortable in indicating that TPG grading is a strong possibility given the natural coloring. An important offering from the Sunset Collection of Liberty Seated quarters and ideal for a Dansco or Whitman album set. Fairly priced!
