Purchased for inventory due to the gun metal gtray-blue toning that is further enhanced by peripheral gold. Strike is typical with even wear. Collectors can always find 1844 dimes in circulated grades, but CAC approval quickly thins the hundreds that returned to the market via the Terry Brand hoard. Only 68 total at CAC in all grades.
