 Original $1345 Better Open 3 Variety, Lightly Mirrored, Near-Choice, Massachusetts Collection. Finally, a Mint State 1873 Open 3 F-105 Seated dime emerges as a duplicate from the Massachusetts Collection. This example presents lightly mirrored fields and reflective luster when placed under a bright light. The in hand olive toning shifts to a pretty golden orange on the obverse while the reverse is mostly gold with blues and rose at the top and bottom rims. Partial wire rims are also noted. The Seated Dime web-book plate coin is currently a VF20, thus a dramatic improvement for the collecting community and the new owner. An obverse in the lower left field holds this one back from a full GFRC-Choice quality rating. Housed in PCGS Gen 5.0 (2015) Dupont hologram holder.
