$425 		Civil War Date, Choice Original, Classic Gray Patina, Attractive Toned, Bart Chapman Collection.. A lovely 1864 San Francisco strike from a mintage of 240,000. Surfaces are 100% natural and unmolested. Classic medium gray patina covers both the obverse and reverse along with darker gray highlights at the periphery. Strike is typical for the date with no points of weakness other than a partial head. Surfaces are free of any significant blemishes that require mentioning. Housed in a PCGS Gen 4.6 (2013-2014) holder with edge view insert. An above average example that was purchased by our long-term client during March 2018. December 1969
