Foremost is the lack of any notable marks even if CAC approved. We believe those to be distracting. This 1893-S double eagle is an example of what we do buy. There is light field chatter only that does not impede the viewing experience. Luster is frosty granular with vibrant cartwheels under a bright light. Though not CAC approved during a recent submission, it remains a quality example that we enjoy in inventory. Housed in PCGS Gen 6.1 (2020-2023) holder.
