Choice $1125 1st Class Eye Appeal, Brilliant Frosted Luster, Dancing Cartwheels, Fully Choice, Scenic Lakeview Collection. This 1902-S Morgan exhibits frosted luster and swirling cartwheels that are consistent with a higher grade. The reverse is particularly vibrant and pleasing. Abrasions on the Liberty's jaw and upper left obverse field are grade limiting. Overall, I'm comfortable with the certified grade as a balance between luster/cartwheels and marks. There are hints of light gold on the upper obverse and on the rim. I am not aware of this piece being submitted to CAC. Overall, a choice example with blazing luster at a competitive offer price. Housed in new large font NGC holder.
