$860 		Light Gray Patina, Residual Steely Luster, Choice Surfaces, Accurately Graded. The 1814 O-103 die variety is easily attributed by a deep die scratch from the upper left wing to the left end of the scroll. This O-103 example is nicely preserved choice surfaces along with residual steely luster. Toning is a medium light gray with embedded rose on the obverse while the reverse exhibits natural coin gray. Mint frost is seen within the protected areas and predominately surrounding the motifs. Strike is typical for the issue. Accurately graded and housed in PCGS Gen 6.0 (2015-2020) holder with CAC approval. December 1969
