Though its big brother 1896-O date secures much of the attention as a key date, the 1895-S issue nevertheless is one of the most desirable of the series. This LaSalle Collection example is evenly worn and toned with a coin gray skin. Fields present a steely texture when examined under a bright light. Surfaces are essentially unabraded with a well hidden ancient line through U(NI)TED in the reverse. Fairly priced for the overall choice quality. Housed in PCGS Gen 6.0 (2015-2020) holder.
