An unquestionably original and notably choice 1843-O Briggs 1-B Seated quarter arrives for the third GFRC 2024 auction event. Briggs Reverse B features a Small O mintmark reverse with long arcing die crack from left rim, through left facing wing, across the eagle's legs into the arrow heads. A fully struck example with crusty gray surfaces coupled with embedded rose. Overall, a choice VF30 example that deserves consideration by collecting fans of this difficult Seated denomination.
