Choice $285 Steely Gray, Blue-Gray Patina, Choice Surfaces, LaSalle Collection. A slightly better Barber half dollar New Orleans date that is well represented by this LaSalle Collection offering. A wonderfully original example with choice unblemished surfaces. Obverse toning is a moderate gray with darker peripheral shades. Pleasing blues and a touch of rose appear on the reverse when exposed to bright light. Strike is well executed regardless of the light to medium wear.
