$1300 		Low Mintage Issue, Crusty Green-Gold Patina, Undisputed Originality, CAC Approved. The Liberty $2.5 gold series is replete with low mintage dates that would bring huge premiums if in smaller sliver denominaitons. The 1874 Philadephia issue is an example with only 3,920 struck. Survivors with completely unmolested or improved surfaces are few and fae between. The fact that CAC has only approved 17 in all grade should give pause as to the important of this offering. This is an undisputedly original speciment with lightly crusted green-gold surfaces and minimal marks. The GFRC images accurate illustrate the surfaces and overal strike which is adequate but not hammered. Priced at the CDN CAC price guide value of $1,350.
