$1300 		Near-Gem Original.. Original, antique silver color washes across the obverse, highlighted by a crescent of evergreen patina at the date. The reverse reveals olive and blue-green toning throughout, suggesting long term storage in an envelope. This is the only CACG-encapsulated example in the present sale, and early submissions indicate that CACG may be even tighter than the well-known CAC sticker service. In any event, the present coin is a worthy entrant to the CACG fold, and the eye appeal is excellent. CAC notes 76 coins total, seven pieces in MS63, and 28 examples finer. The CAC price guide value is $1,200 in MS63. Housed in a new CAC Grading (2023) holder and graded consistent with CAC approval standards. PCGS #6465. December 1969
