$2425 		Frosted Luster, Impressive Strike, Gem Original, New Orleans Collection. Consignor Pricing Reduction. The 1905-O dime is a semi-scarce issue with its corresponding premium. The date is well known for the Micro O die variety. Though the date is available at the MS63 and MS64 grades, the certified population drops off quickly in superb gem with only four pieces in MS67. This newly released example is housed in PCGS Gen 3.1 (1993-1998) old green holder with CAC approval and would be an ideal inclusion into an advanced collection. The mint bloom is as struck resulting in a tightly textured frosty radiance under a bright light. The cartwheels are equally vibrant and as expected at the grade level. GFRC images are accurate with respect to the in-hand appearance with the visual shift to pastel violet and peripheral gold with angled lighting. The reverse appearance becomes steely with silver-gray coloration being predominant. This is a superb offering with a coveted green bean. December 1969
