This 1853 With Arrows half dime is a case study is die erosion and how the mint workers pushed dies to their limit before being removed from the coinage presses. This uncirculated example is super cool as strong with both heavily eroded dies that are approaching "orange peel" texture along with multiple bold die clashes. The luster is frosty and bold with gold toning on the reverse. This is choice example that would be a great teaching aid at a local coin club meeting. Housed in PCGS Gen 4.4 (2005-2011) holder.
