$1200 		Choice Original, Island City Collection.. Frosty silver devices contrast with richly toned fields, as the untoned central figures rise above a base of tan and chocolate patina. The star centers are well defined, and the eagle feathers reveal strong detail. CAC notes 42 pieces total, with 13 coins finder. The CAC guide value is $1,190. The Barber quarter series numbers 74 pieces total, not an insignificant commitment, but one might also consider collecting a limited portion of the set, such as the 18 New Orleans pieces, which were struck each year from 1892 until 1909.
